Saskaweb IT Solutions is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Chris Twa. Unlike many 'local' webhosting companies, Saskaweb maintains all resources here in Saskatoon. We are not reselling space on someone else's data center. We did this for a few reasons:

1. We wanted complete control over our customer's data. It would be impossible for us to safeguard the data to the extent we have if it were stored at a remote data center.
2. We didn't want to be on the hook for someone else's outage. We want to actively work on any problems that do appear, not just open a support ticket.
3. We want the capability to deliver a backup regardless of its size in the event of large-scale data loss. With our local data center, we are able to copy the information to a removable hard disk and deliver it to the customer immediately. Customers with other services can spend days restoring their files over the internet.
